What we program
We're a licensed electrical contractor and we write the C-Bus programming ourselves in C-Bus Toolkit, so a change that needs a new dimmer or keypad is handled by the same team.
If nobody has the programming file, we rebuild it from the network first.
- Scenes and keypad buttons, room by room

A list of the buttons, scenes or schedules you want different is enough. We'll tell you what's likely involved before anyone comes out.
Connect and save first
We connect to the C-Bus network and save the existing programming before we change anything.
Changed, tested, handed back
Every changed scene and keypad is tested with you before we leave, and you keep a backup of the updated programming.
What a service call costs

- to attend, including the first hour on site
The $330 is credited against the repair if you go ahead with it, and we quote the repair before we start it. All prices include GST. No travel charge, and nothing on the invoice you haven't agreed to.
Who it suits
C-Bus that works, but not the way you live
Scenes that never suited the house, buttons nobody uses, or lights that come on at the wrong time.
Homes whose installer has gone
No programming file and nobody to call. We rebuild the file from the network and look after it from there.
Old touchscreens
A discontinued touchscreen replaced with a current one, or control moved onto a phone or tablet.
Renovations and new rooms

C-Bus programming questions
Can you change what my C-Bus buttons do?
Yes. What each keypad button, scene and schedule does is set in the programming, so most changes are a programming visit rather than new hardware.
Nobody has the programming file for my C-Bus system. Can you still program it?
Yes. We read what's on the network and rebuild the programming from it, then keep a copy so the next change is quicker.
Can I control my C-Bus from my phone?
Usually, yes. It needs an interface between the C-Bus network and your home network, then programming so the app shows your rooms and scenes. We'll tell you what your system needs before we start.
My C-Bus touchscreen is discontinued. Do I need a new system?
No. The system behind the touchscreen is usually fine. We fit a current replacement or move control onto a phone or tablet, then program it to match the house.
Can you program C-Bus that another company installed?
Yes. Much of our C-Bus work is on systems someone else put in, often by a company that is no longer trading. A missing file or an old touchscreen is where we start, not a reason to rip it out.
