For architects and interior designers

We design the smart home layer of your projects so it sits properly in the architecture: keypads that belong on the wall, a rack that isn't an afterthought, and lighting control that does what your lighting plan intended.

What we bring to a project

  • Early advice on rack location, plant space and cable routes while they're still cheap to change
  • Keypad and device schedules coordinated with joinery, finishes and switch plates
  • Lighting control design that follows your lighting plan, with dimming checked against each fitting
  • Documentation the electrical contractor can price and build from
  • Site walkthroughs before rough-in and before sheeting
  • A documented handover your client can hand to anyone in ten years

We don't redesign your house. The architecture leads. Our job is to make the technology fit it, and to tell you early if a decision on the drawings will cause a problem later.

Keypads and finishes

The keypad is the part of the system everyone touches. We work with ranges from Basalte, Gira, Jung and others across KNX and Dynalite, in finishes that suit the interior, engraved per room. Samples can be brought to a design meeting.

Questions we get asked

At what stage should an architect bring you in?

At design development, before the electrical documentation is finalised. Earlier is fine if the client already knows they want automation.

Do you provide drawings for the electrical contractor?

Yes. Device and keypad schedules, lighting circuit schedules, switchboard layouts and cable schedules, prepared so the electrician can price and install from them.

Can you work with our lighting designer?

Yes. We resolve the lighting plan into circuits and scenes and confirm dimming compatibility for each fitting on the schedule.

What does the client receive at handover?

A walkthrough, documentation of the system and its programming, and a backup of the programming files, so the house isn't dependent on one company forever.
