About Hyper Automation
We design, program and look after smart homes across Sydney, from our base on the Northern Beaches. Lighting control, security, intercoms, networks and the interface that ties them together.
How we started
Hyper Automation was founded by Sam Doolan on the Northern Beaches after more than a decade working on high-end residential sites across Sydney.
Those years showed where smart homes go wrong. Rarely the equipment. Usually the gaps between the people: a design nobody programmed properly, programming nobody documented, an installer who wasn't around when something needed changing. The company was set up to close those gaps.
What we do
We work with homeowners, architects, interior designers, builders and electrical contractors on new builds and renovations, and we service systems in existing homes, including a great many we didn't install.
How we work
One team, start to finish
Design, programming, installation and service in house. No hand-offs to a subcontractor for the part that matters most.
Designed before it's cabled
Cable is cheap in open walls and very expensive later. We design the system and issue the cabling schedule before rough-in.
Documented and yours
Every system is documented to switchboard and group address level, and the programming files belong to the owner.
Straight answers
If the right answer is a simpler system, or a repair instead of a replacement, that's what we'll tell you.
Where we work
Based on the Northern Beaches, we work across the Eastern Suburbs, the Lower and Upper North Shore and the Inner West, from Palm Beach and Clontarf to Mosman, Hunters Hill, Wahroonga, Point Piper, Vaucluse and Balmain, and further afield for the right project.
